Glaucoma is a simister disease. In this the pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure) increases and causes damage to the optic nerve which slowly causes blindness which starts from the side & involves central
part later on; so patient does not come to know of vision loss for a very long time & has tubular vision.

Glaucoma is also called the silent thief of vision and leads to permanent loss of vision. So glaucoma should be diagnosed
